Verifying configuration before sourcing

Before committing to a source, NLS confirms the requested unit's configuration against the operator's stated requirement, checking part number, modification state, and any software or firmware standard called out in the request. This step exists specifically to prevent the mismatch problem that is common in avionics sourcing, where two units share an outward part family but differ in a configuration detail that only surfaces during bench testing or installation.

Sourcing channel

Units are sourced from established international OEMs and their authorized distribution and repair networks. Where a unit is available in more than one condition category, new, overhauled, or serviceable, NLS presents the options against the operator's maintenance program requirement and lead time, with a certificate of conformance and traceability paperwork matched to the condition supplied.

Delivery and continuity

Avionics units sourced through NLS are delivered with the documentation a technical records team needs to install and log the unit against the applicable airworthiness standard, and import and customs handling into Saudi Arabia is planned into the delivery timeline. For fleets running a defined avionics configuration across multiple aircraft, NLS maintains the sourcing history against that configuration so a repeat requirement does not require restarting the verification process from scratch.
